So I’m not six foot tall and a size zero and I’m getting really annoyed receiving emails for beautiful outfits which, even in my dreams will never fit me! Do you feel my frustrations? Of course you do, we all receive the information at some point which doesn’t cater entirely to us or to our actual needs.

That’s why today’s episode is all about list segmentation, finding out what your audience really would like, understanding what brackets they fall into, what they would like to learn and how you can segment them into the appropriate brackets either by using lists or tags and engage them into what they really want and need.

In This Episode:

  • List segmentation
  • Batch Recording
  • Tailor Content
  • List Hygiene
  • Marketing

“The best way to make sure that somebody is getting the most interesting, relevant content for them is to make sure that they are segmented into a list that can help them make the best decision about what they really want to do and what they want to buy from you and if they want to buy from you so it’s quite important that you do it early, and that you do it.”

“But if you haven’t segmented up until this point, and you’re a little bit concerned about it, because you’re thinking, Well, you know, if I segment my list, people are going to unsubscribe, you’re going to get unsubscribe from most emails you send anyway.”

“But the key thing here is that if you want to serve your audience a higher level, if you want to give them a more personalized experience, if you want to actually make more money from your email marketing, no matter how big or small your list is, segmentation is going to help you do that.”
